How to configure the transducer of a fieldbus machine

•Machines that require Homing cycle at all switch ons

Represents the majority of cases. Using the MVA_ZC instruction, it is possible to configure the execution of the most common homing cycles at the end of which preset quotas are imposed and the result of the execution is reported in the predefined variable c0_done.

•Machines that perform the Preset cycle on request and whose quota is to be maintained at shutdown

The preset cycle is normally performed when the machine is first commissioned and then executed following a request from the operator.

Such machines typically are equipped with multi-turn absolute transducers.

It also sometimes happens that there is a need to want to manage quota retentivity even on machines not equipped with absolute transducers, for example, because they are unable to move if not with the control panel on or equipped with parking brakes or other.
