From R3 source, LOGIC input/output channels can be accessed via the keywords inp, out, inp_w, out_w.
Such access is immediate if the resource belongs to the motion controller, synchronous to the rules in case of fieldbus.
In case of Axioline (Phoenix modules side-by-side with RP-1) the update of inputs is immediate while outputs are synchronous to rules.
Some DI are able to call Interrupt as follows:
Model |
DI channels |
---|---|
RP1 (AS1017.004) |
The first 3 DI are capable of generating interrupts. |
uRmc2 (AS1017.002 |
The first 3 DI are capable of generating interrupts. |
uRmc3 (AS1017.003) |
All 8 DI are capable of generating interrupts. |
RBXM |
The first DI channel of each board, provided the board is inserted in the first 6 slots, is capable of generating interrupts. |
NOTE: In case of a WD (watch dog relay) failure, the state of the outputs remains the last one set. On RBXM I/O boards, the behavior (reset/frozen) can be selected.
