Cause

Error codes. If transducer type CAN402:

0x0001 = PDO missing

0x0002 = Undefined actual quota for the workstation in question

0x0004 = Illegal axis index

0x0008 = Workstation can not defined

0x0010 = EMG code 73xx

0x0020 = Sync not enabled

0x0040 = Workstation not in operational and therefore unable to transmit pdo

0x0100 = Information code (position information valid)

0x0200 = Quota not read

0x0400 = Configuration error on the EtherCAT network (for EtherCAT CoE transducers). Quota from transducer should be considered invalid

0x8000 = Alarm from register

If transducer other than CAN402 type is always 0

Output condition

Alarm enabled in tam mask

Effect

The position detected by the transducer does not match the actual position. Energization is removed from the power set if the power management provides for it

What to do

Check all connections between encoder and Robox control. Check encoder functioning using encoder channel status LEDs. If fieldbus axes are used, check wiring and connections
