This command allows you to rename a file on the flash of the connected device.

Syntax

FREN [-O] <source> <target>

-O:

overwrites any existing file on the flash

<source>

Name of source file (on flash)

<target>

Name of target file (on flash)

It is possible that on some types of flash, depending on the configurations, there are limitations on the target file paths: for example, on Standard and Standard* flash, it is not possible to specify a target path different from the source path.

Examples of use

To rename the file TASKRULE.COF as TASK0.COF, in the flash folder /FA/:

FREN /fa/taskrule.cof /fa/task0.cof
