This command sends when exactly typed excluding the # symbol (thus a device command) directly to the connected device.

The #(direct) command can be configured to be used automatically: in the case, if the shell does not recognize what is typed as a shell command, then it considers it a device command, sending it directly as typed to the connected device, waiting for any related responses.
