The Robox USB Link is the direct communication device with BCC/31 protocol that is created in one's operating system the moment a Robox numerical control (e.g., uRmc3) is connected to the PC via USB connection.

When used for the first time, in a system, the driver must be properly configured and installed so that the device is properly recognized and used.

Following are instructions for installing (and uninstalling) the driver for Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems: for other operating systems the instructions are similar; non-Microsoft operating systems and earlier than Microsoft Windows XP SP3 are not supported.

NOTE: with Microsoft Windows XP SP3, WinUSB support (required for USB Link) is not available until the driver is properly installed the first time.

NOTE: when installing with Microsoft Windows 8 (or later), you must disable driver signature imposition, otherwise you will not be able to install the driver by receiving a generic driver copy error in the driver archive.

Right-click on the rusblink.inf file and select the Install command from the context menu.

The procedure does not show the progress of the operation, only an operation confirmation window will appear when finished.

Turn on the Robox device, then connect the USB cable to the Robox device and then to your computer.

Once the cable is connected, Microsoft Windows 7 will search for the most suitable driver, but will not be able to find it so the error will be reported.
