This command allows you to set the default group for variable search.

Syntax

VARDEF [<scope>]

VARDEF -C

<scope>

Default group to be set

-C

Resetting the current group

If the default group is omitted, any currently set group is displayed.

When a variable is searched on the current connection, if it does not have an explicit group, any default group set will be used. In alternative case the first variable found in any group will be held good, or an error will be obtained if the variable appears in more than one group.
