This command disables the current connection with the device.

WARNING: the moment this command is activated (either manually or indirectly from toolbar or workspace command), any other active command (queued or multiple) or batch file running will be immediately cancelled!

Automatic disconnection

The connection can also be closed automatically, i.e., in the following cases:

•closing the shell window;

•closing the workspace (implies closing the window);

•failure to respond to the periodic communication check (watchdog).
