This variable allows the Profibus or Profinet node address, set in the PFB.cfg file, to be changed. The parameter is retentive and is taken over the next time the control is switched on.

In the case of Profibus node the parameter replaces the value specified by the keyword PROFIBUS_ADDRESS in the PFB.cfg file.

In the case of Profinet node the parameter goes to replace the value specified by the keyword PROFIBUS_ADDRESS or the lower part of the IP address specified by the keyword IPADDR.
