It is possible to protect the execution of certain functions by the use of passwords.
There is the possibility of creating 3 different levels of access each with its own rights. Refer to the RTE.CFG file for the various configurations related to this management.
Pressing the F5 (Enter) key takes you to the submenu:
This screen allows you to impose a new password level or disable the current one.
The meanings of the function keys are as follows:
•F1 (Sts) - Shows the current password level
•F3 (deaP) - Disables the current password level, imposing default access rights
•F8 (EntP) - Allows access to the password setting submenu
•F5 (Back) - Returns to the previous menu
Pressing the F8 (EntP) key allows you to change the access level by entering the corresponding password:
The function keys take on the following meaning:
•F2 (<--) - Moves the cursor relative to the digit to be entered to the left
•F3 (-->) - Moves the cursor relative to the digit to be entered to the right
•F4 (Val+) - Increases the value of the selected digit by 1
•F8 (Val-) - Decreases the value of the selected digit by 1
•F1 (Conf) - Confirms the password entered and returns to the previous menu
•F5 (Abor) - Cancels the changes made and returns to the previous menu
