This command allows you to sniff messages exchanged from an Ethernet port via a bridge port. To be used only for diagnostic purposes in case an external hardware sniffer cannot be used.

Syntax

ETH_BRIDGE ethBridge ethSniffed

ethBridge

The Ethernet port that is used as the bridge

ethSniffed

<> 0 = the ethernet port being sniffed

0 = disables the use as a bridge

Notes


NOTE: Using RP2 there is a limitation that on eth3 you can enable bridging only on EtherCAT messages and not for Ethernet messages.
