This new version introduce support con Unicode user content and upgrade existing features plus the solution of minor anomalies relative to the previous version 3.8.7.
WARNING: Starting from this version the Unicode support is introduced for the user's content, that is the possibility to use any language in one's tools and files, especially for the files destined to be used on firmware RTE.
From this version on the Unicode UTF-8 encoding is used for all text files, both in reading as well as writing/generation, with the exception of the X/script and ladder diagram programs (.LAD).
The Unicode UTF-8 encoding corrispond to CodePage 65001 and is retro-compatible with the Ascii encoded files (7bit): if files are ISO 8859 encoded (8bit), we suggest that such file is converted into Unicode-UTF8 before using it. This conversion is automatically performed for the binary files (FDOC) of RDE3.
