This new version focuses mainly on improvement of the support for the object block and introduction of the configuration for the EtherCAT and RBUS field bus, as well as other new functions and the solution of anomalies relative to the previous version 3.6.1.
WARNING: starting from this version, the workspaces created with previous versions of RDE3 are converted to the new format, with obligatory backup of the workspace file (a reference is added to the original generating version of the file). Analogously, starting from this version, the workspaces created with subsequent versions of RDE3 are not recognized any more. It is strongly advised to not open the workspace files generated with 3.7.0 with a lower version, as a lot of data will be lost, amongst which part of the RTE configuration for each workspace project.

BCC/31 connection on TCP (single socket) (BCC31TCPSS extension)
Introduced new extension with new type of BCC/31 connection on TCP (single socket), that allows the communication of various objects of the workspace on a single network socket, with the possibility of automatic reconnection, at the same time saving the numeric control communication resources.
Note: in order to be used, this extension requires update of the RDE3 licence and a RTE 33.17.x or subsequent firmware (support for NAT on BCC/31 protocol).
