WARNING: whenever a workspace file with the .RWS suffix is opened, it is first converted, renamed and immediately saved with the RWORKSPACE suffix: .RWS file coming from RDE v3.50.0 will simply be renamed and then saved immediately.

WARNING: whenever a workspace file with the .RWORKSPACE suffix is open, it will be created automatically a backup file (named with the base file version and .RWBACKUP as suffix), in order to always have the previous version also in the event of modifications to the format/contents of the file.
