This operation allows you to assign a command to a desired key.

You will first need to open the shell and select Set quick commands... from the context menu, or select the Quick Commands tab from the shell settings, to open the window for this operation.

The Quick Commands window lists all the keys or key combinations to which a command can be assigned by entering it in the text editor corresponding to the desired key.

When you have finished entering, press Confirm (or hotkey Return) to complete the operation, or press Cancel (or hotkey Esc) to cancel it.

At this point it will only be possible to recall a command in the shell by pressing the key to which it has been assigned.
