It is a global window that displays all types of messages (serious errors, warnings, information, debugging, etc.) from any RDE object, extension, or service.

To display it (or hide it if already visible), from any workspace window, select the View/Messages window command from the menu (or hotkey Ctrl+Shift+M).

Operations

In the message window, the operations always available are as follows:

•Pause, pauses the updating of the message list.

•Copy (or hotkey Ctrl+C), to copy the selected message text to the clipboard.

•Search (or hotkey Ctrl+F), to activate the search bar in the message list.

In Active mode (i.e. Idle Pause), the following operations are available instead:

•Clear content, resets all messages in the window.

In Pause mode, the following operations are available instead:

•Filter senders, allows you to filter messages based on the selected senders.

NOTE: Messages are not persistent, that is, only valid only for the current work session and are not saved in the workspace;

NOTE: Messages have been unified for all objects in RDE v3.55.0-3 and search, pause and filtering features have been added.
