It is a global window that displays in an organized way all electronic documentation currently available to RDE.

To view it (or hide it if already visible), from any workspace window, select the View/Documentation window command from the menu.

Operations

In the documentation window, the available operations are as follows:

•Open (or quick Enter key), to open a new view of the manual on the main page

•Open external, to externally open the manual with viewer defined in the host OS

•Close, to close all manual displays (excluding external).

NOTE: CHM (CompressedHelp) type manuals cannot be opened simultaneously by both internal and external viewer: the operations are mutually exclusive. Multiple internal opening is possible, however.

NOTE: While it is possible to open classic CHM manuals with external viewer keep in mind that page layout and hypertext links are intended to work only in RDE with the corresponding internal viewer; this limitation does not apply to modern CHM manuals.
